Bianca Mastrominico is an actress, writer, and director, and currently lives and works between Italy and the UK. Brought up in her family theatre, Teatro Sancarluccio in Naples, she trained further in playwrighting, directing and acting with Josè Sanchìs Sinisterra, Michèl Azama, Nikolaj Karpov, Eugenio Barba, Julia Varley and Keith Johnstone, amongst others.
In 2001, together with John Dean, she founded Organic Theatre, currently company-in-residence at the University of Plymouth, UK. Since 2003, together with the production of her performances, Bianca leads workshops in many UK colleges and universities.




John Dean, co-founder and artistic director of Organic Theatre, is an actor, director and teacher, who graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, in 1994. He has worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre Studio, Nottingham Playhouse, the Gate Theatre (London) with Sarah Kane, and has led workshops for Shakespeare’s Globe, the Institut del Teatro (Barcelona), Prima del Teatro (San Miniato, Pisa) and the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico (Rome), amongst others.




Phil Smith has worked for 30 years in performance and music theatre, as a writer, director and dramaturg with companies including TNT (Munich), St Petersburg State Comedy Theatre, Opera North (Leeds, UK) and Perpetual Motion (London), writing scripts for over 120 productions. Since 1997 he has specialised in site-specific performance-making with Wrights & Sites (Exeter, UK), exploring the possibilities of walking as a form of performance. He is one of the co-authors of A Mis-Guide to Anywhere – a guide to theatrically exploring everyday spaces - and author and performer of The Crab Walks and Crab Steps Aside.




Dr.
Jerri Daboo is an actress, director, teacher and researcher at the University of Exeter. Much of her research is based in exploring different approaches to the body in performance. She specialises in a psychophysical approach to actor training and performance, and has trained in and teaches a range of forms including martial arts, Buddhism, Indian dance, movement and body awareness. Her performance work has included a piece based on the southern Italian ritual of tarantism, as well as creating works in specific landscapes and buildings.
